Two Developers Help Infrastructure Construction

City Secretary, Saefullah acknowledged, infrastructure development projects in Jakarta needs a huge fund. Moreover the city infrastructures must be international standard.

"People say APBD is outstanding, but we still need more money," he expressed, during Kick-Off Meeting Simpul of KPBU in the provision of Infrastructures at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (10/12).

According to him, the mechanism of KPBU can overcome the problem. Because there are alternative sources of funds that can be used for development, apart from APBD.

"I strongly encourage it to accelerate the provision of infrastructure with alternative development financing sourced in addition to APBD," he said.

Jakarta Bappeda Head, Tuty Kusumawati added the scheme of KPBU is set in Presidential Regulation No. 38/2015 on KPBU in the provision of infrastructure.

In addition it is also set in the National Development Planning Minister/Bappenas No. 4/2015 on Procedure of Cash in Provision of Infrastructure.

"It will play a role in assisting regional heads in formulating policies, and this is also part of efforts to accelerate development," he closed.
